Objectives

The "Mental Health 4 You - Mental Health Relevance in the European Union" project aimed at enhancing mental well-being by offering tools for youth and resources for adult education programs in the EU. Focused on adult educators, the project successfully achieved objectives, including the development of a toolkit with eight workshops to raise awareness about mental health. Additionally, it educated adults on various mental health topics such as emotional management, beliefs, self-love, and healthy lifestyle. The project empowered adult educators with competencies and provided tools for adult mental health support, contributing to a comprehensive approach in promoting mental well-being across diverse age groups.

Background

Addressing mental health comprehensively is vital. The recent European Commission meeting emphasized holistic strategies, highlighting prevention and early intervention. Our project, based on caring about people's feelings and mental health, addressed rising challenges like emotional unawareness and supported adults through education and skill development. European data validated our local experiences, shared and confirmed by project partners. As we navigated challenging times, collaboration became key for effective mental health solutions, fostering learning and expertise exchange. Our project, focused on youth and adults, offered valuable experiences, developing methods to strengthen adults' mental health awareness and skills, promoting well-being and resilience in various societal roles.
