The main objective of the project was to make youth organisations more resilient, inclusive and attractive by training their Trainers/Youth Workers in the following aspects: - Management of their activities in various areas under a digital/virtual approach - Implementing the use of different creative tools such as Lego, music, visual and performing arts, etc. in their activities - Improving the accessibility of their activities, taking into account the different barriers young people may have - Increase the visibility/outreach of its activities - Encourage cooperation in innovative training resources, in the design and supply and demand of creative solutions to complex problems and in the visibility of the work of their institutions.
The project has addressed the needs of youth organisations in the cultural and creative field. Since the pandemic hit Europe in spring 2020, the cultural and creative sectors (CCS) have been severely affected and a structural transformation towards more resilient, fair and sustainable working practices was needed, according to the report "Cultural and creative sectors in post-COVID-19 Europe: Crisis effects and policy recommendations" (IDEA Consult et al. (2021)). Adapting to the new normal context through digital media and simultaneously making culture and the arts attractive and accessible to all was a major challenge, so the staff in charge of the CCS had to be equipped with the right resources. Youth organisations are key actors in the access to cultural activities for young people. This project has addressed 3 main pillars to help youth organisations, key actors in the access to cultural activities, making them more attractive, reinforcing the role of culture and arts and responding to the demands of young people: - Digitalisation and visibility of their activities - Launching new innovative activities through creativity - Reinforcing the inclusiveness of cultural and creative organisations through accessible activities.
