Objective no. 1 of the project consisted in Equipping 15 employees and volunteers with resilience skills for digital transformation through structured courses in digital skills, gamification and innovative teaching methods. Objective 2 Acquiring advanced digital knowledge, skills and behaviors and training 15 librarians/volunteers to manage the transition to basic digital education of adult users. The participants in the two structured courses and the approved Job Shadowing activity became facilitators who integrated the new applications, policies and work methods learned during the mobilities into the current activities. The 3rd objective consisted in Cultivating the STEM approach to adult education through 15 librarians/volunteer e-facilitators of digital transformation and the promotion of an effective and innovative digital pedagogy that contributed to the establishment and development of informal spaces in libraries for lifelong learning. ANBPR trained 1 additional participant (total 16) in the mobilities, who acquired modern digital skills and integrated them into the library services dedicated to adult learners..
As a professional association of libraries, ANBPR has found it critically important to invest in the development of digital skills and the ability to use new technologies. To meet the needs identified at the level of adult students and staff (Questionnaire regarding modern library services https://forms.gle/PSqGQDn7VcMCbqnUA and Questionnaire for surveying training needs in libraries https://anbpr.org.ro/ wp-content/uploads/2020/01/raport-comisia-de-formare-profesionala-2019), ANBPR acted in the sense of developing digital skills and competencies (game-based learning and gamification, from distance to blended: learning digital competencies) and resilience of its own employees and volunteers to be able to adapt to the demands imposed by the digital transformation. The ANBPR team (2 people) ensured the methodological and logistical preparation (general preliminary preparation, presentation of the implementation methodology, establishment of educational objectives, ensuring the relationship with the host organizations, cultural and linguistic training, drafting mobility agreements and tripartite contracts, issuing and completing Europass Mobility certificates).
