Objectives

The objectives we set when submitting the project were the following: -Teachers in our school will learn 5-10 applications, which can be used in class, to increase students' motivation to attend classes and reduce disinterest in students at risk. -Increasing the percentage of students and teachers in our school who use interactive digital whiteboards. - Increasing by 25% the number of eighth grade graduates who fit the 'European Graduate Profile' by developing the digital key competence.

Background

At the time of application, there were children from low-income families, children from ethnic minorities, children at risk of dropping out of school who already faced significant barriers to participation in education and learning and had lower education and social advantages than their peers. At the time of applying for the project, the biggest problem we faced was the lack of digital competence of most students and teachers, who were not digital natives and unfortunately did not have access to courses to develop the skills necessary for digital education. We were in a situation where students and teachers did not know how to use digital learning platforms, they did not know applications to facilitate online teaching because it involved a different approach to lesson content. Continuous personal development is a prerequisite for institutional development, collaboration with other organizations in the EU has led to a better knowledge of European values and to an increase in the European dimension of the organization.
