Background

Located in a declared underprivileged area, Technological High School "Unirea" Stei is one of the largest technological high schools in Bihor, with an annual enrollment of approximately 600 students, which prepares skilled workforce for the city of Stei and the surrounding areas . The activities carried out within this project were intended to improve the quality of education offered by the institution and to support the creation of a more inclusive school environment for all school's students, but especially for those from vulnerable backgrounds and for those with special educational needs. The financing covered the participation of a number of 13 teachers in 2 international training courses, on the subject of inclusive education, which resulted in the improvement of personal and professional skills regarding the access of students with fewer opportunities to formal and non-formal education, enabling and inclusion in school and society. The participants brought examples of good practice that they shared with the other teachers. Also through this project we wanted to develop the European dimension of the school, by obtaining contacts and possibly new international partnerships, for cooperation in the field of school education.
