Implementing this project we aimed to: 1. The development of the specialized skills of students studying at the car mechanic profile through practical work on the repair-maintenance of the Powershift gearbox in order to increase the level of specific skills and align with European professional standards. 2. The development of digital skills as a learning tool and necessary knowledge in the field of work for students studying to become car mechanics, offering them the opportunity to use practical applications and programs necessary for the diagnosis and maintenance of the Powershift box. 3. Increasing the ability of students from the car mechanic specialization to find a job after graduation using the knowledge they have acquired through the project activities. Corroborating the market demand for specialized mechanics with the skills developed through this project will increase the employment rate of graduates. 4. Improving communication skills in a foreign language necessary for integration into the European labor market. By engaging in this internship students must use communication skills in both English and the language of the host country. The success is measured through the individual, theoretical and practical assessment.
”Grigore Moisil” Technological High School prepares students in high school education - specializations: technician in economic activities, CNC technician - and professional specializations: car mechanic, mechanical fitter , CNC operator, welder. Students have internships with economic operators, but they are divided into small groups, due to their inability to provide enough places for all. We were able to solve this problem by implementing the project for 16 students from the 10th professional class who are prepared as car mechanics. The students come from rural areas (60%), from families with unemployed or economically disadvantaged parents - Roma or single parent families. The needs identified at the school level: 1. insufficient equipping of the workshops for the Powershift gearbox, which leads to the poor professional development of the students and reduces their potential to find a job. 2. Students' difficulty in expressing themselves in a foreign language 3. Students do not have sufficient professional practice skills. 4. Insufficient digital skills in their professional field as a car mechanic. 5. Lack of professional motivation. The project is an opportunity to
