Background

The crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has the effect of an unprecedented shift to online learning and the use of digital technologies. According to a study conducted by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), it considers that this crisis of COVID-19 is a point from which it is impossible to return to the previous situation regarding the use of technology in education and training. The activity of providing training programs to the North-East Regional Center for Studies was blocked in 2020 because approximately 90% of CRS trainers had not used distance and online teaching tools before the crisis, due to low digital skills in this field and the type of courses taught in the classroom that did not require these skills. But from 2022 all CRS courses will be delivered online, pedagogical resources and online content will be more relevant, more interactive and easier to use.
