1. Improving the professional competencies for a number of 21 students from the qualifications of electromechanical technician (14) and mechatronics technician (7), 11th grade. They participated in internships with external partners (2 flows) for a period of 14 days (2022), and carried out practical activities under the guidance of a tutor, benefiting from both the experience of the tutor appointed by the host company and the technical facilities offered by a training base of superior quality to any other base in Romania, our partners providing service for large car companies. 2. Improving professional skills for 5 teachers of practical training. They participated in job-shadowing activities at the external partner, in a stream. On this occasion, the teachers observed for 5 days the way in which the project learning method is implemented within the practical training that the partner carries out for the students from the local partner schools.
The analises carried out at the level of our school (SWOT and PEST) revealed several needs, which must be addressed in the near future. Considering the low interest of the partner companies or only of their reduced capacity to ensure the practical training of our students, correlated with the high demands of employers regarding the competencies of our graduates, we considered priority two needs: increasing the quality of practical training. our students in the technical field, the electromechanical and mechatronic qualifications (highly demanded qualifications on the local market and for which we have identified high-quality external partners, through the experience they have in the field of internships, as well as Erasmus projects) and growth the quality of the training of the teaching staff that teaches technical disciplines in order to raise the level of competitiveness of the students from the technical field, these being the ones that go directly on the labour market.
