When implementing the project, we aimed at reaching the following objectives, as stated in our candidacy form: -improving the key professional competences for 27 students from the three qualification domains - Constructions, Mechanics and Electrics, level 4, and their ECVET recognition - decresing the school dropout rate in our institution by at least 2 % compared to 2020, by involving in the VET mobility activities 27 students coming from challenged areas and families, who are in danger of losing their interest in education -increasing the insertion rate in the labor market of the recent graduates having the qualification of Plumbing Technician for Constructions and Installations, within the first year after graduation
The Technical College ,,Anghel Saligny”, an educational institution from Baia Mare, Maramures county (a challenged area), is preoccupied with the permanent improvement of the competences, abilities and skills of its VET students,preparing them according to the requirements of the local companies,requirements that are necessary for the different positions and tasks offered by these local companies,while providing modern and qualitative professional training. Increasing the insertion rate on the labor market and preventing early school leaving are two of the main objectives of this educational institution. Nevertheless, the accomplishment of these goals is almost impossible at present,without international contacts and cooperation with similar institutins and companies from the EU. With the project "Erasmus+, Access to Success in My Job", we wanted to ensure mobility activities and work experience to our students coming from challenged areas and families,to build strong partnerships that can allow us to organize international training sessions for the students from all three domains we are specialized in Constructions,Mechanics and Electrics,in companies that use top technologies according to the international trends, in the fields
