The Technological High School D. Filipescu prepares students for the qualifications in the fields of Mechanics, Electric, Natural Resources the high school and the vocational school. School qualifications are required by economic agents in Buzau county, offering jobs after graduation. The level of technology of these economic agents, as well as the behavior of future employees, are aspects that form the basis of the training of these students, both theoretically and practically. We noticed that fewer students are enrolling in the 9th grade, both at the vocational school for the qualifications Welder, Metal constructions and technological equipment, Numerical control machine operator, Metrologist , Mechatronic and CAD designer technician. The students who are enrolled in our school come from economically and culturally disadvantaged backgrounds, from single-parent families or with parents who have gone abroad. 80% of high school and vocational school students commute daily, which makes it difficult to involve them in extracurricular and volunteer activities. In this context, Erasmus projects offer the opportunity for professional training of students to European standards, intercultural exchange and the use of the English language.
