One of the fundamental objectives of UAB's internationalization strategy is to ensure the access of students and staff of the institution to learning opportunities, exchange of good practices, and continuous training abroad. This is not only an objective, but aims, in fact, to ensure quality education that meets the training needs of students and academic staff, the formation of competences, skills and knowledge for the green transition, the digitalization of the economy, an active participation in societal transformation, the promotion of tolerance, the fight against discrimination and the strengthening of democratic values. The implemented KA131 project has created such opportunities for a relevant number of students and members of the academic community, especially by implementing short-term student mobility, which is an excellent tool for promoting long-term study and training mobility, following their downward trend starting with 2020.
