In the strategic institutional development plan for 2020-2024, UMFST G.E. Palade aimed to accelerate the internationalization process in order to align Târgu Mureș university space with the international trends in academic and research development within an innovative, open, and multicultural environment. The Erasmus program is the main instrument for connecting to competitive academic environments with international impact. Therefore, for our university, the implementation of Erasmus KA131 projects is an essential dimension of the internationalization process. Our objectives are as follows: improving the international visibility of the university; strengthening relationships with traditional partners and creating new partnerships in Europe and beyond; encouraging and developing the mobility of faculty and students; internationalizing of education and scientific research in order to increase research capacity and the international visibility of the university; revitalizing "incoming" mobilities; achieving the goal of becoming an international university through an academic community with skills adapted to a competitive and multicultural environment.
