A Motivated Youth Worker was a Youth Workers mobility, a training Course that was implemented between 12 to 20 November 2022. The mobility brought together 25 youth workers from 4 partner organizations from Romania, Italy, Spain and Poland. The Covid-19 pandemic has brought about uncertainty and fear among the youth workers. These times, in which social distancing has been the norm, when young people were not allowed to participate in indoor activities, has contributed to the demotivation of youth workers. We consider that motivation in youth work is essential especially in times of crisis. Motivation is the key behind change making and social innovation. Therefore raising awareness about motivation and helping youth workers change their attitude in a positive way, being able to boost their own motivation, led to numerous positive shifts in their work and community. The Aim of the project was to increase the level of motivation of the youth workers that are part of the 4 partner organizations. When taking a look at the activity from Busteni, We consider these objectives achieved through the success of the activities during the project and through the desire of the participants to work and improve their motivation and grow as youth workers. After the mobility our participants proved that our project really boosted their motivation. Some of them changed the job, some of them opened their own NGOs and some of them are more interested in E+ projects.
