objective - improving knowledge, skills, competences, training skills and work habits through formal, non-formal and informal teaching and learning activities for 90 students from 5 partner countries during 2 years, in the field of environmental protection education, with the aim of raising awareness environmental problems. - the development of pedagogical skills and competences for carrying out formal and non-formal activities in the field of environmental protection for 55 teachers from 5 partner countries during 2 years with the aim of implementing educational activities in the schools where they come from. Specific objectives - awareness of the importance of environmental protection for 90 students by the end of the project; - increasing the level of information about environmental protection among 145 participants until the end of the project; - development of organizational capacity and team cooperation for 145 participants until the end of the project; - improvement/development of language skills for 145 participants by the end of the project; - development of IT, scientific and technological skills, promotion of multilingualism and tolerance towards other cultures, religions, traditions among 90 participants during 2 years
The needs of the target group caused by the lack of lessons on ecology and environmental protection in the curriculum, the low level of information about environmental protection, the low level of application of non-formal methods by teachers, the lack of exchange of good practices with other schools. It was necessary to organize several activities in the field of ecology and environmental protection. Students from the partner schools participated in activities in the field of ecology and environmental protection, for example: greening, planting trees, flowers and shrubs, landscaping, creative recycling, etc.and were further encouraged to participate in environmental activities and maintain a clean environment for a healthy life.The need is common to all partner schools. The project proposed the formation of a responsible attitude in terms of keeping the environment clean through the correct storage of waste and the maintenance of green spaces,involvement in large-scale actions for the preservation of the environment and the solution of environmental problems Also, the project contributed to educating students in the spirit of sustainable development by producing changes in their behavior in terms of saving energy in everyday life
