The aim of the project was to strengthen the quality of start-uppers, young entrepreneurs and VET providers and enhance their professional development through improving circular economy entrepreneurship competences as well as give them opportunity to validate these competences and adapt VET provision. In order to achieve these aim, we provided the following Intellectual Outputs: PR1. Guide for VET providers to Foster Circular Economy Entrepreneurship with SME`s; PR2. SME CE Skills & Readiness Verification Tool; PR3. Customized Digital CE Space for SME`s. The need is clear to do more and better with less resources. if it is a bit easier for bigger companies, for sure it is much harder for the small companies, star-uppers that cannot do it without a proper training and so the idea of this project came up. By creating the three results, the partners made a step forward in dealing with VET education to prepare the new workers for tomorrow. We tried to help the companies to think different and to have a new approach of the business model.
The circular economy is a model of production and consumption, which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible. In this way, the life cycle of products is extended. In practice, it implies reducing waste to a minimum. The areas of climate change, renewable energy or biodiversity are some other areas of key dominance addressed in the European Green Deal. The strategy proposes makes space for new opportunities and establishes new businesses. Better quality of life is expected so everyone should be prepared for the new approach. Different skills and competencies were developed and mindsets changed. Every single one should be prepared to understand the disruptive changes around them. Were analyzed the needs from each country in this domain, and the conclusion was that there are no common standards or curriculum. Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bistrita-Nasaud is a very active organization working on behalf of its member companies, a driver for development in implementing EU policies. CCI BN was one of the first organizations that implemented new ideas connected to CE.
