The topic of was considered as vital for fostering individual and collective well-being, promoting mental health, and preparing individuals and organizations to thrive in an ever-changing world.
The influence of COVID-19 has significantly heightened the risk of professional burnout among various professionals, and we saw an opportunity to contribute to the understanding and mitigation of these challenges. The needs we aimed to address through this project were primarily associated with the following: 1. Need to Raise Awareness: we intended to educate individuals, employers, and the healthcare sector about the potential consequences of professional burnout, including its effects on absenteeism from work, abandonment of the profession, physical and mental health issues, and emotional exhaustion. 2. Need to Mitigate Burnout Risks: we sought to provide strategies and solutions to mitigate the risk of professional burnout, particularly in the context of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. 3. Need to Support CVET trainers: We aimed to create a support system for professionals who were experiencing burnout or related issues due to the pandemic. This support could encompass counseling, mental health resources, and assistance in navigating the challenges of their profession during these trying times.
