O1. To increase the capacity of the participating organizations to respond the training needs of their target groups and provide them free VET specific learning resources O2. To support VET professionals to develop their digital competences, especially in terms of content creation, high quality delivery, ensuring learning engagement O3. To support VET providers build their capacity to respond to digitalization related challenges in the context, by developing competences related to strategic digital development.
INTRAVET Partners applied for this project within the context of the coronavirus pandemic, when the activity of the VET sector was severely disrupted, even worse than other education sectors (e.g. general education), and the needs in terms of upgrading digital competences of all stakeholders become more obvious than ever. Numerous EU-level and studies which were consulted during the preliminary research and need analysis phase were underlining the fact that digitalization in VET was under-addressed, fewer VET-specific OERs and training opportunities being compared to other education sectors. INTRAVET addressed particularly the needs of VET teachers (lack of digital skills and OERs), VET students (lack of digital learning materials, digital skills and competences for self-directed study), VET organizations/management (lack of flexible and coherent digitalization strategies, outdated didactic materials and working methods, poor knowledge/capacity to access funding to improve digital infrastructure), but also needs of companies working with VET students (skills for tutors).
