By organizing work according to the models of modern European schools, we want to increase the efficiency and better cooperation of the teams that the school already has. To motivate teachers to improve regular classes, to improve cross-curricular competences, by organizing various extracurricular activities to achieve that students acquire more permanent and applicable knowledge, and indirectly what will contribute to more students enrolling in our school. By implementing the knowledge gained in the courses, we will achieve the goal of making our school a modern European school. The new way of working will lead to better student results in contests, competitions and final exams, as well as the acquisition of permanent and applicable knowledge. To improve the success of our students we will include teachers who are familiar with new teaching methods, who will strengthen their digital competences, improve conditions for inclusive education, give our school a European dimension and make it more international.
The level of teacher competence improved after the participation of our school in the first Erasmus+ KA1 project in 2017. By using the acquired knowledge in teaching, the level of teaching as well as the level of students' knowledge improved. By participating in the ongoing Erasmus+ KA229 project, we expect students to increase their competencies and acquire new competencies through getting to know other cultures, traveling, and workshops. The teachers got acquainted with the way of working in the schools of other European countries and transferred that knowledge and experience to other teachers, used it to improve their own classes, as well as to modernize the work of the school. Apart from the activities provided by the plan and program, our school offers many other activities to its students. Our students learn English and German as compulsory, they have the opportunity to learn the Romani language with elements of national culture. Among the learning programs and activities, the eTwinning platform occupies an important place. Thanks to good projects, the school received the eTwinning school designation in 2019/20.
