Our primary aim was to further enrich the international dimension of the education we provide by offering our employees an opportunity for professional development within an international context. The participants were expected to share good practices gained abroad with their colleagues at the Academy, thus facilitating the internationalization at home, envisaged in our internationalization strategy. We expected them to contribute to the quality of our study programmes through the transfer of knowledge on innovative curricula and teaching methods. Non-teaching staff were encouraged to apply in order to improve the knowledge and skills needed for the implementation of international projects, and the digitalization of the mobility management. We aimed to take advantage of the experience of mobility participants to raise other employees’ interest in the Erasmus+ mobility, and motivate them to improve their foreign language skills. The aim was also to widen the network of foreign contacts, and increase the possibilities of future cooperation in other types of the Erasmus+ projects. We also believed that by presenting our achievements to foreign partners, we would raise the profile of the Academy within the European HE Area.
