Internationalization of higher education is an inevitable process required for inclusion in the unique European educational area. Participation in mobility projects is expected to enable the University of Niš more extensive involvement in the contemporary trends of inter-university cooperation in the region, Europe and the world, leading to transformation into an international university that provides its students with high level of knowledge and enable them to contribute to a global progress. The mobility provides chances to gain new knowledge, to establish new contacts and learn about other educational systems and institutions. Learning through mobility helps students increase their professional, social and intercultural skills, as well as their chances of getting employed, while improving their ability to perform in various environments. Teachers are the bearers of internationalization and must be well trained to educate students for competition at the international level. Administrative staff is important for their support in internationalization and must be trained to act in professional manner. Clearly, our goal is to achieve the highest level participation of our students, teachers and non-teaching staff in mobility.
