By conducting this project we were aiming to: - Educate reflective practitioners in PI and PS for establishing an associated partnership, form expert teacher panels, implement action research to improve reflective practice and a better connection between 2 levels of education and present research results at 5 round tables - create a presentation of models for the development of competences in the areas of: ecology,inclusion,healthy lifestyles,cooperation with the community and family,special pedagogical orientations and learning everywhere and in every place - print the Collection of Action Researches, conduct of the second round of research by associated partners and present the results at an International Conference - create an initiative for higher education institutions to supplement course syllabuses with content on transition - organize an International conference and present the project results, the models of expert teacher panels, training, Collection of action research tools, the competencies of reflective practitioners and initiatives towards higher education institutions, prepare a Collection of summaries and initiation of support from local governments by presenting work models of local expert teacher panels
The issue of cooperation between kindergartens and schools was addressed as far as 2014, followed by a research including 98 teachers, conducted from 2014 to 2016.It was determined that the problem of transitioning from one level of education to another is inadequate cooperation and unfamiliarity with the characteristics of the previous and the following level of education.The respondents indicated a problem in the following areas:spatial orientation,orientation in space;motor skills;perceiving and reacting to changes in the environment,recognizing cause-and-effect relationships,communicative features of speech,graphomotorics. By analysing the topics of professional development programs in the ZUOV Catalogue, we observed programs that are directly related to the preparation of children to start school from 2012 to 2016, and their share is from 12% to 15%. The topic of cooperation between kindergarten and schools becomes relevant from 2023.We published the professional paper, which was presented at the Conference , in 2017 in Sr. Mitrovica after the introduction of the new Program of preschool education and upbringing, the so-called In the years of takeoff in Serbia,the need to define transition procedures became even greater
