Participation in Erasmus+ Programmes, and implementing this project, is vital to MIUNs internationalization and the work towards our strategy goals. Our Action plan for internationalisation (2020-2023) and European Policy Statement underscore that international cooperation and mobility is a means to enhance the quality of our education, research and societal interaction. Our aim as a University, which this project helps us achieve, is to foster academic environments that are strong and take on global challenges, and to engage in activities on the global arena that fuel and contribute to the development of the region. Another of our aims that the implementation of this project supports, is to make knowledge accessible to more people, throughout life, through our research and education. As the only university in the region, MIUN has a unique opportunity to impact and give the surrounding society access to and the opportunity to benefit both from higher education activities, international mobility, and internationalization at home. During this project period (and beyond) we focus on inclusion and broadening participation. This also relates to dissemination activities and digitalization of processes that supports our project goals.
