Lund University is an international university, popular with international students and with extensive international collaborations. The university´s vision is to be a world-class university that works to understand, explain and improve our world and the human condition and internationalisation is one of the university's six prioritised areas in the Strategic Plan 2017-2026. One of the corner stones for internationalisation at Lund University is the mobility of students and staff, both incoming and outgoing. Lund University’s action plan for internationalisation 2019-2021 specifically addressed facilitating mobility for students and staff. The Erasmus+ Programme contributes to Lund University reaching its ambitious goals and vision. Lund University actively participates in various international exchange programs, including Erasmus+ and has been involved in the Erasmus+ Programme since its inception in 1987. Students and staff from Lund University engage in exchanges with other European universities through Erasmus+, enhancing international collaboration and diverse learning experiences.
