Blekinge Tekniska Högskola (BTH) active participation in the Erasmus+ program is an important achievement, aiming to foster diverse international collaborations, enhance the quality of education, and cultivate an internationalized atmosphere ("Internationalization at home") within the university. The new Erasmus+(2021-2027) program introduces various components, with the international dimension standing out as particularly significant. This dimension expands our opportunities to engage with additional countries for the benefit of our students. Another noteworthy feature of the new program is the provision for students and staff to participate in Blended Intensive Programs. This fits very well with our policy, the priorities of the updated Erasmus+ program, such as inclusion, green travel, and digitalization, complement our objectives. Furthermore, the program generates an international impact on society, as incoming students and staff interact with residents, including representatives from housing enterprises, companies, stores, etc., within the municipality during their exchange experiences.
