We wanted to improve the level of English. Teachers teaching in English improved knowledge transfer and provide students with better support in researching foreign sources of information. We wanted to encourage employees to be actively involved in international projects with the long-term goal of realizing student mobility. This would provide students with experience in the international arena, encourage them to make contacts and exchange experiences with peers from other European countries. We also wanted to achieve greater competence in the use of ICT and their inclusion in the pedagogical process and the transfer of such knowledge to students. We wanted teachers to get new ideas, examples of good practice and current trends. Our goal was also to increase the scope of pedagogical activities outside the classroom with the aim of experiential and active learning. We wanted to connect different subjects and promote awareness of the importance of caring for the environment and cooperation with locals.
Permanent changes in society and education demand consideration and preparation of strategy for future activities. On the basis of our analysis we put down challenges and set down the development guidelines according to our needs. We found out that our employees and students do not embrace all the possibilities of mobility. They were often saying that the reason for inadequate participation lies in their low level of English, so we want to change that. Global epidemic put education process into new kind of reality and faced it with many issues. Only usage of ICT technology made it possible for education to reach at least optimal level. We believe that a similar way of work is going to continue, and we want to be up-to-date with new trends of this kind. As we are aware of the importance of preserving nature in the future, we are going to embrace the challenge of learning in nature. This way we can merge experiential learning and promoting consciousness about the connection with nature.
