Objectives

In accordance with our school vision and the goal to achieve high quality of education and with the help of digital tools we wanted our students to gain theoretical and practical knowledge, encourage their entrepreneurial thinking and creativity, gain intercultural competencies and strengthen tolerance, responsible judgement and sustainable treatment of the environment. Being part of this project, the implementation and the evaluation of participants have brought benefits to teachers, other staff members, the institution itself and mostly to students, especially to those with fewer opportunities. With the set objectives we wanted to increase the international activity of our school center, broaden the students’ and the staff’s horizon, and contribute to the quality of education.

Background

Secondary education in our institution has been in progress for more than 60 years and all this time it has played an important role in our region as a school that has been following quality ways of teaching. This is our vision today as well as in the future. As a responsible educational institution, we are well aware of our role in modern society, full of challenges and needs for creative and environmentally conscious people who are entering the labour market or continuing their studies. Since 2014 our school has cooperated in the Erasmus+ project in consortium with the Secondary School of Economics Celje. In 2021, we have started our own path in pursuit of our students and staff gaining new experience and knowledge. We strive to create an environment that stimulates learning, growth and connections among students and staff members. We are open to innovation, we continuously improve our work, and adapt to changes in the educational environment. Funds received from the Erasmus+ programs enable us to develop new approaches and reinforce our knowledge.
