Vocational College of Hospitality and Tourism Maribor (VSGT Maribor) has a rich history of international cooperation that stimulates our study programme content, students and employees as well as the tourism industry. Erasmus+ activities provide us with the constant transfer of knowledge, extended partner network, cultural understanding, inclusion and language proficiency. This translates to our gastronomy and tourism departments which benefit from it and provide us with fresh inputs that relate to our thinking and implementation (new ways of organizing, new dishes for our Michelin-rated Restaurant Seven, new ways of service, hospitality innovations, new wellness services, etc.). We want to be a focal point for hospitality, tourism and wellness for all our youth seeking a path towards a career in the industry and the industry itself. We stimulate students to go abroad to enhance their competencies and experience upscale organizations abroad. In order to promote and motivate students we also stimulate staff mobility, which provides the added value of new trends, friendships and industry connections. Erasmus+ allows us to stimulate students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
