With the Erasmus+ projects, School of Advanced Social Studies (SASS) encourages students, academics, and other employees to dive into the internationalization process on the individual level of well as institutional level. Participation in the Erasmus+ program has a strong impact on the development of the faculty on the national and international levels. One of the main goals is to reach international and intercultural competences and transmit them to the institutional environment. Special emphasis is given to encouraging students to actively participate in the study process as well. Employees are achieving pedagogical and professional competences in the international environment with the goal to contribute to the internationalization process of the faculty. A very important aspect of participation in the Erasmus+ program is “incoming” students and professors who inevitably bring added value to the pedagogical process and social life at the faculty and thus contribute to the internationalization at home. Professors open new topics from their research field and environment to students. Incoming students with their presence enrich the lectures with their experience that arises from a different cultural context.
