With new Erasmus Charter for Higher Education - ECHE for new program period 2021 - 2027, University of Primorska (UP) updated the Erasmus Policy Statement - EPS statement and Medium-term Development Strategy in 2020. There were significant developments in the field of internationalization, which also affected the implementation of this project, as the focus shifted from achieving the number of mobile persons to ensuring the quality of the implementation of mobility. One of the set goals for the next period is facilitating one long term mobility of staff training following the example of our pedagogical colleagues. For better integration of foreigners, we have established a "welcome center" and a "mixing space" that brings together slovenian and foreign students and researchers. By reorganizing individual departments at the Rectorate, we redefined individual responsibilities (establishment of a project office, additional strength for mobility projects and Erasmus+ projects) and included more departments in support (greater role of the Admissions office, the Promotion Group, etc.). All university communication takes place in Slovenian and English at all levels, thereby increasing the possibility of understanding and integration.
