The Association Higher Vocational Colleges is the legal representative of Slovene Short Cycle Higher Education and as such responsible for quality and development of its members. Internationalisation is an important part of development of HVCs so the Association HVC established a consortium to assist them as they are small regionally present institutions and do not have adequate human and financial capacity for development. Internationalisation has been exceptionally weak with most members. Goals: - increase in the number of students on study exchanges and internships abroad, - increase the international mobility of academic staff, - increase the number of visiting experts and familiarise them with Slovenian culture, - to strengthen the supportive environment at schools for a higher quality of international mobility. Priorities: 1 extend mobility to participants who are not management staff, 2 increase the number of visiting lecturers, 3 expand the cooperation of international partners of the Association HVC to bilateral cooperation between institutions, 4 carry out 1x annual group mobility of management staff, 5 in long-term organise a sectoral group mobility 6 in long-term organise a group mobility for specific staff groups
