The objective of the international meetings of this project was to bring together 16 interested international youth workers and their organizations to develop their practical skills, which they need to spend time in nature. We did so through a personal challenge and by learning how to transfer their knowledge to young people by creating a plan for an event or activity for young people in nature. We exchanged experiences and tested various tools for youth work in nature. At the end of this training, the youth workers returned home with new technical skills for working in nature and ideas for preparing workshops. They also had a new group experience of living together in nature. We encouraged them to take action so that they will feel more confident in organizing activities even in their home environment. They also connected with organizations and individuals interested in a similar field of activity. With the project, we provided an opportunity for the professionalization of youth workers and offered them informal learning experiences that contributed to their professional and personal growth. With this, we wanted to contribute to improving the quality of youth work and exploring one of the approaches to it.
