Objectives

We connected young participants from different EU countries with the project. They worked together for 11 days, overcame their differences, learned together, developed as a person, as individuals. They worked on quality ideas, for the common good, developed valuable life skills such as critical thinking, creative expression, compassion for differences in opinion, culture and way of life and a better understanding of these differences. We introduced them to the field of a sustainable way of life in the fight against climate change, which was also the clear goal of the project. We have equipped them with knowledge, information and skills that they will be able to use further in this field. We promoted European cooperation in the field of youth, gained better capacities of partner organizations for operation at the EU and international level, and promoted mobility opportunities for young people. Young people gained important knowledge and skills in this area and thus became more competitive on the labor market. These were other important goals of the project. We promoted tolerance among young people, acceptance of diversity, respect and freedom. Young people from different parts of Europe came together, worked together and tackled the topic practically and theoretically. The project was also strongly related to the Resolution on the EU Youth Strategy, where we pursued the goals of making young people more active citizens, to realize their own potential and the influence that young people can have. We connected the project with important initiatives, such as the European Green Deal, the United Nations Agenda for Sustainable Development until 2030. Young people were actively involved in the project, as the idea also arose from the testimony of young people about the importance and current topics in the current world.
