The idea for this activity - networking - was born as a result of the situation we find ourselves in 2021. Having recovered a little from the shock of the covid and the closures in all the participating countries, we reflected on what we are missing or what we need to be able to cope successfully in our professional lives with the new situation, the new reality, if you like. In addition to the above, 2021 also brought the start of a new financial perspective and new EU programs, which we also need to adapt to quickly. In addition, a number of studies have shown the impact that the pandemic has had on young people in the EU, who have been faced with closed schools, and deteriorating mental health, and we believe that the organisations that work with these young people must also adapt quickly to these challenges. That is why we saw this networking event as an opportunity to bring together representatives of the different organisations working directly or indirectly with young people, to build long-term strong partnerships to start working together to respond intensively to the challenges young people are facing. During this time, we have also faced our own organisations with: - travel restrictions, - taking activities online, - lack of direct contact with young people (due to lack of face-to-face activities), - the new guidelines of the EU programmes, especially E+ (digitalisation, sustainability orientations of the organisations' activities, promotion of "mixed" partnerships from different sectors in a project). The networking partners agreed that these are challenges that we have seen in our own contexts, both at national, regional, and local level and that we cannot fully answer or address them on our own, which is why international projects with partners who have skills in different fields are key. We want to work in the long term so that partnerships remain beyond 2027. The aim of the project was to empower the participating organisations to better deal with the impact of the youth pandemic in our contexts. The objectives were: - To build long-term strong partnerships and solid trust between the 7 participating partners from different sectors in order to develop larger quality E+ projects for the new financial perspectives 2021 - 2027 to respond to the above challenges of young people. - To share good practices in management (in particular the development or transition from conceptual design to quality projects and their implementation) under different EU programs, in particular E+, and beyond. The impact we have achieved is as follows: - Participants: made personal contacts with potential partners from different sectors after a long time, identified project needs and ideas that the participants' organisations are facing or want to develop, developed new project ideas directly with other participants, and learned more about the importance and process of preparing an organisation development start-up strategy. - Organisations: learn about and form strong partnerships with organisations from other sectors to build quality projects, put into action good practices to improve their projects, have at least two new project ideas included in the pipeline for the upcoming call for proposals, and have the opportunity to reflect on their development strategy, their why.
