Young people have innovative "green" ideas and not enough opportunities to make concrete initiatives and be heard. Our project allowed them to express their opinion, share it with their peers and the world! We are convinced that the 1st step in the fight for environmental protection really happened only when we were able to look at recycling more broadly and understand it as a process of carefully separating everything that is useless/no longer serves its purpose. At the EU level, we introduced young people to some responsible approaches to recycling for the well-being of people and nature. But in order to raise awareness, we first had to take off our rose-colored glasses and change our view of the world! The project allowed young people to simply choose a different filter, put on a different color of glasses and start thorough recycling, both at home and in the world. Recycling, based on breaking false beliefs and creating a new, greener future, actually started right in our heads - with recycling - not only of waste (black glasses), but also of our own thoughts/emotions (red glasses). values/priorities (yellow glasses) and attitude to the Earth (green glasses: they also included respect for natural resources, love for animals.
