By projects mobilities, we wanted to: A. To enable 1 teaching assistant and 2 female teachers to meet eTwinning partners live, to compare the teaching practices of using sign language and to find a way to incorporate new practices into the teaching of hearing impaired students at our school. B. For 4 female teachers to expand the portfolio of methods and procedures used in the Snoezelen rooms and thereby contribute to improving the vital functions of pupils with severe and profound mental disabilities and ASD. C. We wanted to enable 2 of our teachers to learn and verify working procedures and adopt the system of creating a working environment based on the Montessori philosophy by visiting and hosting with the possibility of teaching at the Montessori Kindergarten in Pilsen. D. By completing courses against burnout syndrome, we wanted to maintain the work commitment and enthusiasm of the 2 female leaders, which is necessary to handle the tasks started and build new projects for the development of a competitive school.
The project We will find common ground was the result and reflection on our situation, which is influenced by 4 factors: A. The increasing number of students with hearing impairment and the need to improve the control and teaching of sign language. B. The need to expand the portfolio of methods and procedures for working with students with severe and profound disabilities using the snoezelen room. C. Preparatory work and expansion of education in the field of Montessori pedagogy before the opening of the Kindergarten with Montessori philosophy. D. The need for a motivational impulse, deviation from the stereotype and encouragement for the school principal and project manager facing burnout. The selected courses and visits to schools for the purpose of observation were chosen in such a way as to expand and complete the level of already achieved knowledge and skills of the selected teachers. The two implementation visits to schools were based on previous cooperation through eTwinning projects and were further consolidated after the mobilities were implemented. 5 female teachers have already participated in Erasmus+ mobilities in the past and 7 of them were on mobilities for the first time.
