Background

The Preserve the Past For the Future project is based on the post-covid situation, when students not only did not have the opportunity to travel and meet new people, but also to meet each other and develop social competences. Students in the post-covid period are more reserved, have problems with socialization. Students experience social exclusion, which results in a loss of motivation. We perceived cultural diversity as the topic that best fits into this context, and by getting to know different cultures, we wanted to increase students' motivation to study and lifelong learning and develop social skills. The topic of cultural heritage protection turns the student's attention from his own personality to social responsibility and European belonging.
