Objectives

The aim of our project was for our pupils to gain the latest knowledge in the field of introducing new technologies in all technical and economic fields, which have so far only been taught at a theoretical level. The project made it possible to effectively connect theory with practice, which is a big handicap in our school, because we do not have technically built workshops and simulators where students could develop their key competencies during lessons as prerequisites and capabilities for the performance of a future profession. Knowledge from abroad is also important for students, trying to integrate into a work team, getting in touch with customers and trying to deal with them, gaining experience in a given field, becoming more independent and gaining healthy self-confidence at work. The goal of the completed project was to clearly increase the quality of vocational training of students and to improve their value and application on the labor market. As a result, the students also received an international Certificate of Completion of Practice Abroad and Europass Mobility after graduation, which applicants can use in the future when applying for a job in the European Union.

Background

The school entered the project with the intention of supporting and motivating students to achieve better educational outcomes within VET and employability on the labor market. During the duration of the project, the students acquired and mastered professional specifications in the given field, technological and technical innovations in the field of electromobility, automotive electronics and digitalization of logistics and transport. Pupils worked in an international working environment, used their theoretical knowledge and applied it to work activities according to ECVET units. After evaluating the functionality of the units of educational results, we want to further use the acquired knowledge for other projects supporting the education of students at our school, which will allow us to ultimately increase the educational level of the school. The result should be the pupils' own work skills, which will also contribute to improving the quality of the educational process and pupils' activities in competitions at the level from the regional round to international placement, such as in ENERSOL, ZENIT, etc. All knowledge from practice helps to increase the awareness of reducing the carbon footprint in the educational process.
