The goal of the project was to increase the quality of vocational education and training through short-term professional internships in schools in the Czech Republic through the support of the internationalization of SSŠ ŽP and thus strengthen the prospects for employment in the labour market at home and abroad. The main goal of the project included the solution to several needs, which were fulfilled through the activities of the Erasmus+ program: - to develop the quality of the education process and improve the system of dual education; - build and develop a network of partner institutions in the European Union; - enable students to learn to work with technologies that are used abroad; - to increase interest in the study of the offered fields, - to strengthen employment on the labour market at home and abroad after graduation.
The project "Gaining experience in the neighbouring country" was created in response to the need for the Private Secondary School Železiarne Podbrezová to open up to Europe and thus increase its quality. For the successful internationalization of the school, it is necessary to continue building partnerships through cooperation between educational institutions and businesses, acquiring new teaching and learning methods while simultaneously creating new perspectives and opportunities for learners with fewer opportunities. The school educates employees in the metallurgical industry. Despite the excellent cooperation with its founder and also a key employer in the region (ŽP a.s.), it feels the need to improve its quality and offers learners more opportunities abroad constantly.
