The intention of the school is to constantly improve and innovate the practice, knowledge, skills and competences of students, to prepare qualified graduates for the Slovak as well as the European labor market. That's why we want to implement European and international innovations in professional terminology, materials, technologies, equipment, digitalization of services, environmental behavior, and work organization into the school's educational program in individual fields. Through the implementation of individual mobilities, 30 students were given the opportunity to supplement and implement the school's purpose, also with regard to inclusive trends in education. Parents of pupils with an economic deficit and from single-parent families also welcomed the opportunity to complete a professional internship. By disseminating the outputs of the project, we positively influenced the thinking of parents, elementary school students and their choice of the direction of secondary school studies. Another goal of the school is to prepare graduates for multicultural communication, for inclusion, for working life in a multicultural European society, tolerance in interpersonal relations, to introduce open and innovative education.
The key need of the Secondary Vocational School of Services in Levice is to ensure quality vocational education and training (VET) and to provide secondary vocational education in the teaching and study fields of services and production, as the only school in the Levice region with this focus. The long-term intention and goal of the school is not to allow the craft to die out in Slovakia and to do everything for the promotion of crafts and their needs for people and everyday life. By implementing the project's individual mobilities and promoting it to the public in written, electronic and oral form, we reached out to potential study applicants in the teaching and study fields of the project, which we can confirm by the increase in the number of study applicants.
