Our school is perceived in the region as a center for rural development. It is located on the outskirts of Banská Bystrica. The campus is maintained by our students who grow agricultural crops, nectargiving flowers, mow grassy surfaces, and raise animals. Within the professional subjects, they acquire basic skills in traditional crafts – working with husks, with wood, working with clay and firing products in our pottery kiln, working with wool and wirework. We train our students to be entrepreneurs in the countryside, capable of managing the country so that they too can pass it on to their followers. Even in the food industry, we preserve the traditional taste and composition of our products. The project was aimed at gaining experience from country with developed rural tourism, motivating students to preserve traditional crafts and products with a story for the consumer. The effort was to create conditions for the development of talented students, but also students with a lack of opportunities, through mobility in partner institutions. The project increased skills in 3 directions - in the food industry, preparation of tasty products from quality goods;organic farming and rural visitor services; innovation in the pet breeding.
