The Erasmus+ programme is an integral part of the internationalisation strategy of the Technical University of Košice (TUKE) and contributes significantly to the implementation of the Ulysseus project of the Alliance of European Universities. The fact that TUKE is actively involved in the Erasmus+ programme underlines its commitment to support international cooperation, promote international mobility and improve the overall quality of education. * In addition, the involvement in the Ulysseus Alliance demonstrates TUKE’s intention to build strategic partnerships with higher education institutions in the EU and beyond. TUKE strives to create synergies, share resources and promote innovation and excellence in education and research. * In the 2021 project, we aimed to increase the number of students and staff travelling on mobility, even though it was still partly a Covid period. The project foresaw 188 student mobilities and 20 mobility for internships. For staff mobility, 54 teaching and 31 training mobilities were foreseen. The launch of the Ulysseus Alliance was also linked to the plan to implement seven BIPs. Unfortunately, the impact of the Covid has made the implementation of the planned mobilities significantly more difficult.
