The main goal of the project is to increase the quality of education and research at the university through better internationalization of the university and to improve the competencies of students, teachers, and other university employees through mobility to partner universities. An equally important goal is to deepen cooperation within European university alliance ENLIGHT, since CU is a member of the alliance. A long-term development plan of the university includes 5 goals in the field of international cooperation: a) to expand the degree of involvement of our workplaces in international academic mobility programs; b) to actively promote study opportunities at the CU not only at home, but also abroad with the goal that at least 10% of the total number of its students would come from abroad; c) to create conditions for studying in foreign languages, especially English, at all levels of study; d) to create joint, primarily doctoral, study programs with renowned foreign universities, e) to maintain the membership of the university in important international academic organizations. Participation in the Erasmus+ program is, therefore, crucial for the CU in terms of long-term sustainability of the qualitative level of education.
