The goal of the project was to improve the quality of informal adult education in the conditions of Central Europe through following specific objectives : 1) Increase the competences and skills of our trainers, leaders, trainers, teachers and educators 2) To strengthen the capacity, diversity and attractiveness of our and joint programs of our non-formal education centers for adults and youth 3) And last but not least, to improve the level of cross-border cooperation between project partners and their target groups (own staff and users of results).
The project is the result of a long-term cooperation between three partners from the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. They share common values, target groups and approaches. They are interested in supporting sustainable development in their communities and in supporting innovation and attractive informal lifelong learning. The project in the same time is also the follow up initiative of thje accomplished Interreg V.A Slovakia-Hungary cross-border project whcih resulted in construction and establishement of the facility / infrastructure of the Carpathian forest education and residence center. The "Carpathian Woodcraft Center" project was therefore a logical step in the creation of local, but also cross-border and Central European (Carpathian) programs and initiatives offered in newly developed centre. With the project, we wanted to solve both the creation of these programs and a network of longer-term cooperating partners, and the need to increase the skills, knowledge and practical knowledge of our trainers, trainers, activists, leaders, and even representatives of target groups (people who want to learn something interesting and useful as well.
