Objectives

The main mission the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the fight against cyberbullying and the subsequent spread of enlightenment on this topic among students, parents, and other schools. Gaining the trust of students and parents and deepening the relationship between children and parents was certainly not secondary. We consider it an essential point in the fight against cyberbullying. Teachers- we wanted to learn to communicate with students outside of class, during extracurricular activities, notice their behavior, , change in behavior towards classmates and listen to them if they try to indicate something. Earning their trust is related to this. Last but not least is being able to react and help them. Students- we wanted to achieve open communication with teachers and parents and to know how to move safely in the online space, to know how to defend yourself, to work with hoaxes, to make it clear to them what GDPR means and what happens if they become aggressors. Parents- it means constant communication with children, being able to listen to them and help them, non-violently controlling social networks. Schools- draw attention to the importance of dealing with the topic, motivate them to train teachers in this topic.

Background

All three organizations agreed that the topic of cyberbullying is not well consulted and is talked about in schools, very little at home. Cyberbullying problems are only dealt with when they occur. In our partners schools specifically worked very little on this topic, students were not open enough and did not trust teachers and parents. It even happened at the SK school that students created an account on social media network on behalf of an attractive boy and corresponded on his behalf with another student who had a crush on the boy. They then mocked her for being naive. The school management had a situation on how to solve it. And here was the turning point, when teachers realized that cyberbullying also affects their students. That's why we decided to find partners with a similar problem and develop a project with activities with invited experts who will help us find a procedure to prevent cyberbullying, how to teach pupils and their families to work more safely in the online space and how to proceed if something similar happens. In SL and TR school, they had a lot of problems with targeting students via social networks and publishing photos that the aggressor did not have the right to and did not accept the GDPR.
