Our intention in this project was, together with other groups of young people, from the countries that were partners of this project, to get inspiration what games they use in their programs with children and young people and to learn together to create game programs for the targeted development of children and young people with whom we work. We wanted to support non-professional youth workers (volunteers who run summer camps, who organize regular meetings of young people) to improve their skills in youth work. Since most of the volunteers are students and have no professional training in youth work, they need to learn in order to continuously improve. At the same time, there is often a lack of support for new volunteers who start working with children or youth. We responded to these needs in the project. Since we operate in the countryside, where young people do not have so many opportunities for development, we need to connect our young people with other active young people from other countries, who will bring them not only new inspiration, but also a new motivation for engagement in the local community and for organizing activities for children and young people. At the same time, our partners also declared a similar need - to bring new impulses among their young people, so that they get a new motivation to be involved for others. In this exchange we focused on getting to know how to use games better and more effectively for the development of young people. Together, we prepared a program that was built on games that we created ourselves. Our intention was also to strengthen the motivation of our animators. Many of them do not have the opportunity to travel abroad, to meet young people from other countries, so we wanted to motivate them for their work and to look for other possibilities for their personal development and their personal engagement. Our main obejctive was to create a space for young people from our countries to be motivated to use the potential of games for the development of children and young people they work with as volunteers or leaders. Specific objectives: To enable the meeting of young people from different countries in order to exchange experiences on how to prepare game programs for young people. To learn the rules of the new games. To learn to create new own games or adapt existing games. To learn to take into account the specifics of children and young people who have health, social, educational or other difficulties when implementing game programs, and thus support their inclusion. Strengthen cooperation between non-formal groups of young people.
