With our project, we wanted to solve the employment problem of our students by examining the examples suitable for current technology by finding international internship companies in order to find solutions to the problems caused by the technological lag of the equipment in our school. With the environmental project topic we chose, we aimed to raise individuals who are sensitive to their environment and protect their environment. We wanted to increase sensitivity to environmental threats with trips that will set an example for environmental sustainability in the European country to be visited. We wanted to increase the professional skills of our students with the repair, maintenance and controls within the scope of our project on motor vehicles. We wanted our students to meet a different country, a different culture and increase their foreign language proficiency. With this project we implemented, we wanted to become a recognized institution that develops international cooperation. We wanted to meet our identified needs with the work we will do on a European scale.
Since the equipment in our school has completed its technological life over time, it lags behind the tools and materials used in the job markets that correspond to our fields and there are problems in catching up with the current technology. While the students of our school receive theoretical and practical lessons in the field workshops in the 9th, 10th and 11th grades, they feel deficient in terms of knowledge and skills when they receive training in businesses 3 days a week in the 12th grade. Our graduate students have employment problems and the lack of knowledge and skills is the subject of complaints by businesses. Our graduate students have difficulty in finding a job related to their field. Our project emerged in the efforts to find internship places in our school where studies are carried out with equipment suitable for today's technology and to help our graduates find jobs related to their professions. In addition, it is aimed that this project will contribute to the prevention of the ecological threat specified in the school strategic plan.
