Objectives

By implementing the project, it was aimed that the participants learn innovations, improve their professional skills, and support their employment by doing internships in the Diagnosis and Maintenance of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles in Europe.

Background

There is an incredible difference between the applications of Automotive Electromechanics in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles in the job market and the vocational education that field students receive at school. With their current knowledge, it is not possible for the students of Motor Vehicles Technology to be employed at the point where the job market has reached, and when they graduate, they fall into a disadvantageous position in the labor market. Due to the fact that this subject is open to new and continuous development, the lack of physical and technical infrastructure of the school, and the limited number of businesses where students can do internships, there are difficulties in raising qualified professional staff in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles maintenance since the courses are taught theoretically. This project has been prepared to meet the needs of our students to develop their professional knowledge, skills and competencies in maintenance and troubleshooting in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles in EU standards
