Objectives

Objective 1- Our institution is not preferred by students with high academic success due to prejudices against intermediate staff in the region where it is located. We aim to break this prejudice. Goal 2- We aim to improve the self-confidence (entrepreneurial aspects) and foreign language of our students in our Construction Technologies Department. Goal 3- To develop the knowledge, experience and abilities of our students who are trained in construction technologies as an institution in the field of PVC joinery and coating. Goal 4- To increase the academic knowledge and experience of Vocational Teachers, especially in the field of Construction Technologies of our institution. To enable our vocational teachers to see new technologies in place.

Background

A significant part of the constructions is used with PVC joinery. Operations with PVC joinery require extensive machinery and equipment. Technological developments in this field are very rapid. It is important to keep up with this speed and to increase the students' ability to use them. However, our students who are educated in this field cannot see these subjects in detail because there is not enough time in the curriculum. Grade 12 students of our institution receive training in businesses. However, there are small-scale enterprises in PVC in our district. Accordingly, PVC machinery and equipment used in businesses cannot follow new technologies closely. In the PVC joinery sector, our students have the opportunity to be trained as qualified personnel. In the 2019-2023 strategic plan we prepared, it was observed that our students had employment problems after graduation. Our students mostly work in unqualified, low-paid jobs in construction.
