International and European cooperation plays an important role in the strategic development of Ege University while the internationalization is one the biggest aim of the university for activities such as education, research, knowledge transfer and administration. University aspires to improve the quality of studies, research and teaching by expanding international education and cooperation. It encourages the students at all cycles (from first to third) to go abroad for taking part in the study or traineeship mobility. The mobility of students is the University’s most intensive European activity. University stands out between the highest number of exchange students and staff in Erasmus Program among Turkish universities.
