Bilkent University has met the objectives stated in the Erasmus Charter for Education and aimed to increase the number of participants in all mobility programs compared to the previous projects. This is also our main concern for implementing this project. However, due to the late announcement and payment of the grants, the increase in Euro against the Turkish Lira, the difficulties in the visa procedures for the outgoing students, the university was not able to increase the student numbers as it was aimed before the beginning of the project. Since the implementation of Erasmus Program in Turkey, Bilkent University desire to send and receive more students and staff then the previous years. The University's close relationship with the leading universities in Europe has helped its students and staff to participate to the Erasmus Program mobility tracks and this continuous and fruitful cooperation with the European partners contributed to Bilkent University's vision of internationalization.
